Ben Strang is a commercial filmmaker and photographer whose repertoire spans mediums. As an independent photojournalist and a director of both scripted and documentary-style works, Ben’s storytelling approach is born from a fascination with startlingly unique individuals and locations. Known for his ability to find indelibly human moments in the nuance of every day life, his latest scripted pilot, “Beast” won the SXSW Grand Jury Award for Best Independent Episodic and his latest branded docu-series, “A Mystery To Me” won a 2021 Cannes Lions and was selected for a Vimeo Staff Pick. Ben is currently developing a number of documentary projects and commercial works for brands around the world. He is based in Venice, California and is a fanatic kitesurfer and wilderness explorer.
